About
Based in Fairfax, Virginia, Shaman Nina (Nina Gibson) is a ceremonial leader, shamanic practitioner, intuitive guide, and musician who has been holding sacred healing space for over 30 years. Known for her grounded, heart-centered presence, she helps people reconnect with their inner wisdom, spirit, and the natural rhythms of the Earth.
As founder of the Northern Virginia New Moon Hoop, Nina has guided countless New Moon ceremonies through shamanic journeying, drumming, song, and prayer. Drawing from Earth-honoring traditions, along with a background in science and music, she creates spaces where healing, clarity, and deep self-remembrance can naturally unfold

Her intuitive sessions are guided by presence rather than prediction, blending conversation, reflection, and energy work to support clarity, grounding, emotional release, and a stronger connection to one's own inner guidance. Each session is unique, responding to what is needed in the moment with compassion and reverence.
Alongside her healing practice, Nina is an accomplished singer-songwriter and fiddler with a deep love of traditional Irish music. She performs regularly at Irish music sessions and community events throughout the DMV area, San Diego, and Ireland, and serves as Special Events Coordinator for the local branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the Dublin-based organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Irish music, dance, language, and culture.
Though distinct, Nina's healing work and music share the same foundation: presence, authenticity, and a deep respect for the unseen threads that connect us all.
